Craving a Taiwan Railway bento no longer means making a trip to the train station. Taiwan Railway Corporation has partnered with 7-ELEVEN to introduce two co-branded ready-to-eat meals, now available at 7-ELEVEN stores across Taiwan. The collaboration brings the signature flavors of Taiwan Railway bentos to convenience stores, allowing customers to enjoy these popular meals while commuting, shopping, or traveling.
One of the new products is the "Braised Chicken & Salted Pork Combo Bento" (NT$129). The meal features savory salted pork, known for its rich eastern Taiwan flavor, paired with juicy braised chicken thigh to create a hearty double-main-course bento. The packaging is inspired by the iconic Blue Train R100, evoking memories of leisurely journeys along the South-Link Railway.

The second product, the "Preserved Mustard Greens & Braised Pork Rice Wrap" (NT$75), pays tribute to the Hakka-style Taiwan Railway Bento first introduced during the 2023 Railway Lifestyle Festival. It transforms the classic preserved mustard greens and braised pork dish into a convenient handheld rice wrap, making it easy to enjoy anytime. The packaging features the DR1000 diesel railcar that operates on the Neiwan Line, combining Hakka culinary culture with the charm of Taiwan's branch railway lines.
Both co-branded products are now available at 7-ELEVEN stores throughout Taiwan. Shoppers can easily pick them up during their daily routines and enjoy the familiar taste of Taiwan Railway bentos while experiencing another way that railway culture has become part of everyday life.
