Kaohsiung Labor University has launched 18 new courses for its 64th session, covering AI tools, data analysis, labor law and financial risk protection. A total of 138 courses are offered across five categories, providing learning options for workers and residents, while some popular classes have limited places.
AI is a major focus, with courses on AI Agent, ChatGPT, Canva's intelligent AI and AI image creation, covering applications in office work, data organization and visual design. A data organization and visual analysis course also helps learners strengthen digital skills and workplace capabilities.
New courses also address workplace rights and personal finances. "Ten Lectures on Labor Law" covers employment contracts and contractor and employment relationships, while "Workers' Financial Well-being and Risk Protection" includes household finances, income and spending management, labor insurance and retirement benefits, debt management, scam prevention and retirement planning.
For interests beyond work, courses include mobile applications and video production, skincare and makeup, polyphonic harmonica, Japanese, embroidery, beadwork and patchwork. "Needlework Trio" combines three craft techniques, allowing learners to explore different forms of handicrafts and create their own works.
The 64th session offers 138 courses in labor laws, workplace skills, fashion skills, leisure and recreation, and life applications, with classes held across multiple districts of Kaohsiung. Registration closes September 18. Full course information is available on the Kaohsiung Labor University website, or by calling 07-3328110, extensions 322 or 323.
