Hsinchu County's Brilliant Flag Raising Ceremony on 1/1, New Residents Lauded for Integrating into Society
Hsinchu County Government held the "Hsinchu County Flag Raising Ceremony in 2020" that was themed with "all five arrows creating the glory" on January 1 at the square of the city government. County Mayor Yang Wenke, Chairman of County Council Zhang Zhenrong, Vice Chairman of County Council Wang Binghan, the personnel, all the representatives of townships and the city, and the public all gathered together to sing the National Anthem with Hngyang Na Atayal (an Atayal singing group) that served as the lead of singing.
During the ceremony, County Mayor Yang also awarded all co-organizers including Chinese Marine Veteran Corps Association, The International Nature Loving Association (INLA), Hsinchu County Eighteen-style Tai Chi Qigong Coach Association, Hngyang Na Atayal, the Creative Flower Drum Ensemble of Hsinchu County Zhudong Township Erchong Community Association, and Hsinchu County Qionglin Township Dance Group to appreciate their supports and assistance.
County Mayor Yang particularly awarded, recommended by the New Immigrant Families Service Center and the Lianghe Culture Association, two new resident sisters who came to Taiwan for marriage and overcame cultural barriers to adapt to Taiwan. County Mayor Yang encouraged new resident families to create a brand new life and confirmed their hard works. He also appreciated new resident groups to work with the county government to invest resources and assist in caring for new residents in the county.
