2020 Taiwan Expo in Vietnam to be held online on Sep. 16
On the industrial front, the relocation of global supply chains from China and partially into South and Southeast Asia is a trend heavily participated in by Taiwanese firms. Among these ASEAN countries, Vietnam has become Asia’s hottest investment destination in recent years. The Bureau of Foreign Trade of Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) commissioned Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to host the 2020 Taiwan Expo in Vietnam online from September 16 to 18. The virtual exhibition will be held to expand innovative activities in the local market.
TAITRA has made the decision to convert the 2020 Taiwan Expo in Vietnam into an online format. To continue to lead Taiwanese businesses to expand the market to New Southbound countries, TAITRA will be arranging online one-on-one trade meetings, online seminars, online opening ceremony, and cultural performances on September 16 and 17, offering an opportunity for businesses to experience innovative activities through Taiwan Expo without going abroad!
The online exhibition will not only launch virtual booths but also provide digital services so that participating businesses' products could be published on the website of Taiwantrade. Besides, during the exhibition, online seminars and the online opening ceremony will be shared online to offer a better exhibition experience.
The 2020 Taiwan Expo in Vietnam online will combine Vietnamese industrial development with Taiwanese industries and culture to show Taiwan's capability to expand capabilities or influence worldwide.
