Starting August 13, Chinese children under 6 and their parents to be allowed to return to Taiwan

On August 12, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that starting from 00:00 Taipei Standard Time on August 13, mainland Chinese children aged 2 to 6 years may apply for entry into Taiwan and their parents may accompany them. On the whole, mainland Chinese children under 6 years old and their parents accompanying them are allowed to return to Taiwan. These children and parents must undergo a 14-day period of home quarantine as required after entry. Implementation details will be established and administered by the National Immigration Agency and related government agencies.
