Storytelling workshop for new immigrant mothers to start July 20
To help new immigrant parents communicate well with their children, Penghu County Government will be holding an empowerment workshop for new immigrant mothers through picture book teaching in their mother tongues.
The workshop will be hosted between 10 a.m and 12 p.m on July 20, 22, 27, and 29, with a total of 5 courses. Every new immigrant living in the region is welcome to join. Every new immigrant will be expected to lead their children to explore different cultures, the Social Affairs Department of Penghu County Government stated. It is estimated to recruit 15 new residents. Registration will end July 17 (Friday) or until no vacancy is left.
