Changhua 2020 new immigrant life adaptation training now starts
To carry out counseling services for new immigrants and enhance their skills to adapt to life in Taiwan, Changhua County Government will launch two free classes with limited seats for any new resident in need.
The training course is aimed to lecture on basic knowledge of life adaptation and regulations, such as household registration, residence, cultural issues, employment, health education, parenting issues, safety, fundamental rights, language learning, and gender equality, with a total of 72 hours lecturing.
According to the Nationality Act, foreigners should possess basic proficiency in the national language of the ROC and basic knowledge of the rights and obligations of ROC nationals or join courses held by the governmental departments, as requirements of naturalization, the Civil Affairs Department of Changhua County Government pointed out. The purpose of the program is hoped to help foreigners to be naturalized as R.O.C nationals.
