From Air to Sea, Tourism Industry Expects 20% More Indian Tourists to Taiwan
South Asia's Leading Travel Show (SATTE), known as the biggest tourism expo in South Asia, held an opening on the 8th. Singapore Trade Office in Taipei of Tourism Bureau of R.O.C established a Taiwan Pavilion at this grand event that strengthens its cooperation with airlines and cruise Industry and expects the number of Indian tourists to Taiwan will increase by 20% this year.
SATTE had been held until January 10th at the Indian Expo in the Greater Noida of North India. There were more than 50 countries, 104 cities in India, more than 1050 enterprises, and several tourism institutions that attended, and the Singapore Trade Office in Taipei of the Tourism Bureau, which is responsible for the Indian market also established a Taiwan Pavilion at this grand event.
Director of Singapore Trade Office in Taipei of the Tourism Bureau, Lin Xinren, states that Taiwan ’s tourism market in India has gradually revealed its outstanding potential, and it is hoped that Indian tourists to Taiwan will grow by 20% this year. To achieve this goal, Lin Xinren says that he attended this year ’s largest tourism expo in South Asia at the beginning of this year, will participate in the Business and Luxury Travel Mart (BLTM) at the end of the month, and will attend the Leading Travel Show in Asia-Pacific (OTM) in Mumbai in February. At the same time, they will be also holding a marketing tour in 6 major cities throughout the year to continuously deepen the impression that Taiwan is the best vacation paradise for Indian tourists.
Besides, Lin Xinren indicates that the Tourism Bureau has launched indoor and outdoor billboard advertisements for places where premium customers often show up, such as airports and shopping malls. Also, they will launch a new wave of online advertisements to increase visibility for traveling to Taiwan.
