The new resident lantern section also invites contemporary installation artists, new resident artists, and lantern artists to jointly use multimedia composite materials combined with traditional lantern construction methods to create a "Hua Hao Yue Yuan" (花好越圓) bridal bouquet made of beetle nuts and betel peppers that symbolizes an agreement between two people.
Moreover, "Xin Xin Xiang Yin" (心心相印) represents a beautiful long veil worn by Indonesian women when they get married; "Fei Ni Mo Shu" (菲你莫屬) represents a blessing brought by flying pigeons after Philippines wedding ceremonies; "Wings of Dreams" co-produced by new resident artists and the second generation of the new residents represents that new residents and their children pursue their dreams on this beautiful and multicultural land.
