British new immigrant "settles down in Taiwan for love", devotes himself to education and is now an English teacher

YouTuber Li Ta-feng (李大豐), also known as Robert, from Canterbury, UK, (英國坎特伯雷) visited Taiwan in early 2014 and he was amazed to see that Taiwan’s economic development has improved a lot compared to other Asian countries. In addition to being fluent in Chinese, Li Ta-feng also speaks authentic Taiwanese. Recently, his videos attracted the attention of Taiwanese netizens. He said, Taiwan is safe and progressive, without losing the mysterious charm of Asia.

For Li Ta-feng, Taiwan is a treasure island and is a modern country at the same time, not only does it have many places for adventures, but also provides tourists with some excitement. Later, Li decided to stay in Taiwan and work as an English teacher in Tong Kang, Pingtung. During the day, he goes to Sun Yat-sen University (中山大學) in Kaohsiung to take Chinese classes and spend at least two hours commuting to work every day. He confessed that after four months of this kind of lifestyle, he decided to go home.

However, before he was about to leave Taiwan, fate led him to meet his wife. Li Ta-feng said happily, "I met my wife, fell in love, and got married! Now I have family members here and have lived in Taiwan for 5 years already.”

After settling down, Li Ta-feng decided to pursue his dream, and he thinks that Taiwan is a very suitable place, so he started to film videos, and created a YouTube channel called "Ta Feng Big Brother". He used the most traditional way to plan his videos, writing his ideas in a notebook. At the same time, he set goals and target numbers for his channel to motivate him to improve every day.
