According to The Star, a former student was so proud of her school that she spent tens of thousands of ringgit to turn the canteen into a cafe.
Analiza Ahmad, who currently owns the western restaurant "Ana Burger D'Cafe," paid roughly RM27,000 to renovate the SK Bintong canteen.
"At the end of last year, I won the tender to run the school canteen." It is an honor for me to be entrusted by the school for the first time," the mother of two told Bernama.

When asked why she was ready to spend so much money on renovations when there were no guarantees of a high return, Analiza responded she wanted to improve her alma mater's reputation.
"As a former student, this is the only way I can repay the school for the education it has provided me because it was here that I learnt to read and count to attain my current achievement," the 43-year-old explained.
Analiza has also varied the menu to ensure that students are not tired with the cafe's offerings, which range in price from RM1 to RM2 every meal.
"Nasi minyak, macaroni, and spaghetti are among the special menu items available here," she explained.
