On November 24, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that it will conditionally loosen restrictions on the duration of funeral attendance or visits to relatives for people in home isolation/quarantine starting today as the pandemic has subsided in Taiwan.   1. Applicants who have completed their COVID-19 vaccine series for at least 14 days can go out once every day, for which the duration is limited to four hours (travel time excluded) in principle, after receiving a negative RT-PCR test result and within two days of specimen collection date. They may not stay overnight at a place other than their quarantine/isolation location.
  2. Applicants who haven't completed their COVID-19 vaccine series or haven't completed their vaccine series for at least 14 days can go out once every day, for which the duration is limited to two hours (travel time excluded) in principle, after receiving a negative RT-PCR test result and within two days of specimen collection date. They may not stay overnight at a place other than their quarantine/isolation location.

  1. If applicants still need to go out after the first request, they may follow the abovementioned procedure to submit another request; there are no restrictions on the permitted number of requests.

     4.Regarding which vaccines can be accepted for applicants' requests, regardless of         whether or not they got vaccinated in Taiwan, accepted vaccines are those approved by the WHO Emergency Use Listing or for emergency use or manufacture by Taiwan; applicants should provide proof of vaccination or vaccination records for verification.
