The Eid al-Fitr celebration 2019 in Taipei on June 9 took in 2 different main places, in Taipei Main Train Station and Daan Forest Park. Eid celebrations are festively held on Sunday, because Sunday is a public holiday.

This year Eid al-Fitr was held on weekday, where many Muslims do not get time off in Taiwan, most of them got few hours off day, specifically to perform simple Eid prayers and celebration. This year, there was a long holidays in Taiwan also coincide with the Dragon Boat Festival, therefore people have a more adequate holiday time and used this opportunity to stay in touch on Sunday.
