Taitung Zhiben will host the "2023 Taitung Light Festival" from October 6 to November 19. "Return to Zhiben" is the topic of this year's event, which welcomes 13 groups of local and international artists to take part in the production. Visitors may enjoy the nighttime attractiveness of Zhiben by means of music and light art. It takes place on weekends for three months straight, coinciding with the Zhiben hot spring season. If you spend $500 or more during the market and music event, you can enter the lottery. An iPhone 15 smartphone is the largest reward.

This year's "Taitung Light Festival" features 13 pieces of art that highlight regional features like the ecology of butterflies, the indigenous culture of Katratripulr, and the lush, fertile rice fields. Visitors can take in the breathtaking scenery of Zhiben in addition to the hot springs and local culture.

Additionally, the Taitung County Government has partnered with the historic train "Breezy Blue" of Taiwan Railways. A little lantern will be given to the first 200 passengers who board the "Breezy Blue" and get off at Zhiben Station during the event. The Zhiben Hot Spring Area will also hold the three-month Zhiben Hot Spring Season from October 7 to January 1, 2024, in conjunction with the Taitung Light Festival.

The hot spring businesses in Zhiben have introduced a "Hot Spring Market Consumption Voucher" at a discounted price. You will have the chance to obtain consumption certificates from the partner hotels during the event if you make purchases at specific hotels. They are available for purchase at the event booth.
