On June 5, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC)announced that it has allocated an approximately NT$4 billion budget and that, starting June 7, 2021,
CECC will use the budget as an incentive for contracted healthcare facilities that offer free vaccinations to members of the public, in order to promote the large-scale COVID-19 vaccination program.

The priority order according to which members of the public receive free vaccinations will be announced by the CECC in phases.
There are currently no plans for a self-paid vaccination program, and therefore, no concerns about out-of-pocket expenses may arise.
