[Taiwan Immigrants’ Global News Network] In order to promote adult preventive health care services, Taipei City Government rolls out the activity of giving out top-up money for adult health checkups. Adults who registered in Taipei City or new immigrants in Taipei City, from January 1st to June 30th, those who have completed the "Adult Health Examination" or "Hepatitis B and C Screening" at Taipei's designated adult preventive health care institutions with their health insurance card and joined the "TAIPEI PASS Taipei Pass" member, can participate in the health point-collecting activity.

The Department of Health organizes the "Taipei Pass-Health Service" collection point to redeem the Easy Card top-up credit, providing cervical cancer screening, oral cancer screening, breast cancer screening, and colorectal cancer screening. This is done to improve citizens' self-health management and health awareness. There are seven activity plans with a health theme, such as the health check-up, adult health check-up, hepatitis check-up, geriatric health promotion, and pregnancy and eugenics care. Each point is redeemable for a NT$1 EasyCard top-up. Participants from the public are welcome.

The Department Health, Taipei City Government states that one can receive 100 points for finishing the adult preventive health care service (adult health check) and another 100 points for finishing the hepatitis B and C screening. Please get in touch with the medical facilities of Taipei City's administrative districts if one is interested in the adult health exam for Taipei residents or the subsidized programs for those who qualify. The point redemption period is anticipated to begin on that day of announcement of The Department Health and run until October 31, 2023. (Tuesday). No redemption will be permitted after the redemption time has passed.
