This year's cherry blossom season in Taiwan is coming to an end, and Tamsui Wuji Tianyuan Temple's (淡水無極天元宮) cherry blossoms, according to local sources, are in full bloom, and through the end of March is the greatest time to view cherry blossoms. Tamsui Wuji Tianyuan Temple was completed in 1985. It is a Taoist temple with a very magnificent appearance, around which has been planted with cherry blossoms in recent years, and it often becomes a popular scenic spot in northern Taiwan during the flower season. Around Wuji Tianyuan Temple, two different varieties of cherry blossoms have been planted. While the Yoshino cherry blossoms are currently in full bloom around March and April each year, the three-color cherry blossoms (pink, white, and pink) planted in the back mountain bloom in approximately January and February each year. As a result, Tamsui Wuji Tianyuan Temple draws a lot of tourists and photographers every year from January through April.
