A new immigrant A Mei (阿梅) said that her family members like to eat food cooked with sesame oil and Chinese herbal. However, the body might not be able to stand consuming these kinds of supplements every day. Dr. Li said that having balanced nutrition, adequate sleep and regular exercise are the only ways to maintain health.
Chinese herbal food that is a popular food choice during the winter, usually is cooked with alcohol to enhance its flavor. Indeed, it is not suitable for the elders and children to consume too much of it. Instead, they should have balanced diets with vegetables and fruits, and the public is encouraged to avoid staying up late, have outdoor activities, and exercise moderately with the mask on.
