Taipei's "Physical Fitness Facilities and Libraries" are open with the following guidelines

The epidemic in Taiwan has slowed down, and it is under control in both Taipei City and New Taipei City. The Taipei City Government announced that the physical fitness facilities in parks is now open, but the public should wear masks, wash hands frequently, and maintain a social distance of more than 1 meter outdoors. The facilities are disinfected twice a day. If there is a confirmed case, all facilities in the parks will be closed for 3 days and fully disinfected.

Starting today, the Taipei Public Library and its branches will open smart libraries, study rooms, and computer areas. However, the seats in the study room, reading area, and computer area are reduced to 25%, and the flow of people entering the library is still reduced to 40%. The children’s areas and enclosed activity spaces are temporarily closed. As for community colleges and senior education schools that opened on September 1, their staff, and the students of senior education schools, who have not been vaccinated or who have had the first dose of the vaccine but have not yet reached 14 days, should have a COVID-19 negative result of rapid test or PCR test, within 3 days of their first day at work. Staff of community colleges should have rapid testing every 3 to 7 days.

In addition, the courses should be conducted online or should adopt different physical teaching methods. Physical classes where masks cannot be worn, should be postponed or should change the course contents and the teaching methods. The Taipei City has allowed three sports events including basketball, volleyball, and handball. The sports venues should hold activities and competitions in compliance with the Taipei City Sports Guidelines.
