To control the spread of the epidemic, the New Taipei City Government has launched the "NTC Emergency Messenger" which is a website that people can visit to check for high-risk areas of the virus, screening stations, and related epidemic prevention information. The website also offers filters appropriate for any inquiries.

The New Taipei City Government stated that through the Taipei City Police Department's investigation and analysis center, the Department of Health was able to track the history of the confirmed cases. The Department of Civil Affairs and various district offices set up "Prevention Centers for High-Risk Areas of the Epidemic" to enhance epidemic prevention and control. It also launched the NTC Emergency Messenger website allowing the public to better understand the conditions of the epidemic around New Taipei City, especially the high-risk areas, epidemic prevention centers, and screening stations through an online map.

Once entering the website, users can select the filter function to look into the details of the map. The "screening stations" are marked by the ambulance kit icons, the "epidemic prevention centers" are marked by the house icons and more. Because of the color-coding on the map, it is clearer and easier to identify which areas are considered high-risk in New Taipei City.

Furthermore, the website allows users to inquire about real-time disasters, refuge shelter locations, news regarding suspension of classes, information on water and electricity, traffic updates during accidents, medical disease-oriented environment, and other information. The hotline and location for disaster relief can also be found on the website.
