The Temasek Foundation of Singapore stated that ever since the COVID-19 outbreak, they have been providing free anti-epidemic gears to the public such as masks and hand sanitizers. However, because of the latest variants, the foundation decided to give away free oximeters to families as well. If blood levels are dangerously low, the public must seek medical attention immediately.

A healthy persona's blood oxygen saturation ranges between 95% and 100%; if it is between 90% to 94%, it is considered to be low and supplementary oxygen may be necessary.
