The Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam, Pham Binh Minh (Phạm Bình Minh), recently stated that 99.6% of Vietnam's population above the age of 18 has received at least one dose of the vaccine, and the full vaccination rate has exceeded 90%.

Pham Binh Minh said that 99.6% of Vietnam's population above the age of 18 has received at least one dose of the vaccine, and 90.9% have been fully vaccinated. As for the population aged 12 to 17, 85.6% received at least one dose of the vaccine and 57% are fully vaccinated. Vietnam is currently purchasing vaccines for children aged 5 to 11.

Pham Binh Minh pointed out that the Ministry of Health of Vietnam released data as follows. From March 2021 to January 2, 2022, a total of 195.1 million doses of COVID-19vaccines have been purchased. The government has continuously adjusted the pandemic prevention and control measures according to the current situation.
