The New Taipei City Emergency Operations Center (EOC) welcomed several Disaster Response Center core staff members from friendly nations like Belize, Paraguay, St. Vincent, and St. Lucia to Taiwan for training. The two sides shared their perspectives on disaster prevention and relief, in addition to learning about the development of different disaster prevention initiatives in New Taipei City and how to use technology in these areas.

Members of the visiting delegation were given access to the Emergency Management Information System (EMIS), the Emergency Data Platform (EDP), and other disaster prevention and rescue systems by the New Taipei City Emergency Operations Center during this international exchange. According to the New Taipei City Fire Department, the city has actively integrated disaster prevention and response capabilities and technologies with international standards in recent years. As a result, Taiwan's most advanced cloud deployment decision-making dashboard was built, enabling users to instantly grasp various service statuses and monitor fire in a variety of scenarios, including hurricanes, earthquakes, intense rainstorms, and compound disasters. Corporate memorandums on disaster prevention are signed, disaster prevention communities are trained and drilled, and disaster prevention skills are further strengthened.
There was a lot of conversation during this trip to friendly nations, and it was advantageous for both parties to share information and firsthand experience on catastrophe aid and prevention. It successfully boosted bilateral communication, reciprocal exchanges, and international friendship.
