The political advisor of the Executive Yuan organized a transnational event with the young people of Chiayi County who devoted in regional revitalization, gave full play to the advantages of each township, and enhanced industrial innovation. They invited foreign postgraduates and interns from the Taiwan Nextgen Foundation to visit Dalin, Chiayi County, and organized the "Let the World See Dalin Youth Exchange Meeting" at the Dalin Wanguo Theater.

The “Dalin Nice" team, made up of six young Taiwanese youths, accompanied international postgraduates and interns on space tours and introduced them to the region's distinctive agricultural goods. The team is dedicated to recording Taiwan's geography and inter-human interactions. The team also makes use of the area created from ancient buildings to grow workshops and experience activities, unite community strength, and market local agricultural goods.

Urban regeneration, according to a postgraduate from Poland, is not only an essential national economic development strategy and a program for city integration, but also an objective supported by EU authorities. In an effort to give urban regeneration in Taiwan a fresh focus, the postgraduate also discussed the regeneration strategies of cities like The Hague and Lodz at the exchange conference.

In 2016, Dalin, Chiayi County received recognition as a Slow City by an international body. In recent years, it has actively promoted industrial growth by utilizing its geographical advantages. It is envisaged that the youth exchange meeting would foster industrial innovation and provide a solution to the issue of unequal regional growth.
