The National Taxation Bureau organizes the "2021 Young Anchor Camp", second-generation new immigrants’ students "Learn New Media"

The National Taxation Bureau of the Southern Area, Ministry of Finance (財政部南區國稅局) held an online live broadcast of the 2021 "Integrity, Character and Honesty in Paying Taxes" (廉潔品格誠實納稅) campus public welfare and prevention of tobacco tax evasion and tax evasion campaign --"Taxes, Fun and Integrity" (優品稅風，Fun心廉盟) young anchor “Honesty” camp. This time, a total of 50 elementary and middle school children from remote villages, poor families, physically and mentally handicapped, new immigrants, and ordinary families in jurisdiction participated online. The activity was carried out in a relaxed and lively manner, allowing children and their parents to learn new media communication skills and applications, while absorbing the knowledge of tobacco hazard prevention and integrity of character.

Lu Chen-Hsiu (盧貞秀), director of the National Taxation Bureau of the Southern Area, said that the purpose of this course is in response to the high dependence on the Internet and on new media in our daily lives during the epidemic. Therefore, a team led by Professor Huang Chiong-Yi (黃瓊儀) from the Department of Information and Communication of Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (南臺科技大學資訊傳播系) was specially invited to teach about online conference software, computer graphics design software, and mobile phone filming and editing software. The participants may apply the skills that they learned from the online course, such as designing creative posters and videos.

In addition, parents even shared on their personal social platforms, the videos produced by the students in the classroom about prevention of smoking tobacco and about integrity of character. Once again, the theme of the event "Prevention of tobacco tax evasion", "Integrity, Honesty and Anti-Corruption" are shared so more people will understand, and successfully reap multiple benefits.
