NIA Hsinchu City Service Center and Specialized Operation Corps. jointly propagate the latest regulations on "Mini Electric Two-wheeled Vehicles", the prevention of African swine fever and the protection of related rights and interests to avoid exploitation, etc.

  • Notice: Rules to ride Mini Electric Two-wheeled Vehicles

1.  No driver's license required

2.  Must be 14 years old to ride

3.  Qualified safety helmets are required while riding

4.  Don't ride a vehicle without a qualified inspection mark

5.  Do not modify the electronic control device without authorization

6.  Do not give people a ride and exceed the speed of 25km/hr

7 . Do not drink and ride

In addition, NIA Hsinchu City Service Center appeals to new immigrants and migrant workers not to ask relatives shipping pork products to Taiwan. Violators will be fined NT$200,000 or NT$1 million depending on the number of violations. Lastly, migrant workers are encouraged to report to NIA if exploitation of relevant circumstances are found.

Director of NIA Hsinchu City Service Center (藍紹譽) stated that everyone still needs to follow the epidemic prevention measures and not to violate the regulations on the African swine fever prevention. Migrant workers who spend the festival times together in Taiwan should strictly abide by the relevant regulations when riding mini Electric Two-wheeled Vehicles.
