The Filipino friend claims that when he visited Taiwan previously, Xiao Long Bao and beef noodles were suggested to him, but these dishes were beyond of his reach and cost at least NT$200 to NT$300. A Taiwanese purple rice ball, on the other hand, is rather full and costs between NT$30 and NT$50. Additionally, he recommended Taiwan advertise this meal as a must-try treat.

Yes, Taiwan produces a lot of unusual cuisines that are well-liked overseas. Additionally, they said that after visiting Taiwan, a few well-known Japanese and Korean bloggers spread the word about rice balls, which helped to popularize Taiwan's substitute specialty foods.
