  • Taipei City’s “Vaccination Passport”

TaipeiPASS (台北通) will have a new function of showing the individual’s vaccination status. By scanning the Contact tracing QR code via TaipeiPASS, green, yellow, and red lights will be displayed, and the green light indicates that the person has been fully vaccinated. This will facilitate more precise contact tracing efforts by restaurants and government agencies.

  • New Taipei City’s “Vaccination Passport”

In the current stage, the contact tracing efforts will mainly focus on campus. This is because many schoolchildren under 12 years old are not eligible to receive vaccination yet, and children are likely to experience an infection wave due to the higher transmissibility of the Omicron variant. New Taipei City will follow the central government and adopts vaccination proof of “Vaccination Record” and “Jian Bao Kuai Yi Tong Application (健保快易通APP)”.
