Taipei City Government (TCG, 臺北市政府) announced to strengthen quarantine measures for confirmed cases on June 17. Citizens tested positive are required to undergo quarantine in a quarantine hotel under professional supervision.

This move makes it no longer tolerable for the confirmed cases to undergo quarantine from home. Those unwilling to cooperate shall sign a letter of guarantee, receiving no subsidies or compensation from the government.
