To aid new immigrants in integrating into life in Taiwan more quickly, the household registration office in New Taipei City annually arranges "Life Adaptation Counseling Classes for New Immigrants." The Zhonghe Household Registration Office has launched registration for its annual "Life Adaptation Counseling Class for New Immigrants," (新住民生活適應輔導班) which runs from April 18 to April 28. The course will cover a variety of topics, including legal information, family education, handcraft artwork, skin care items, and others. Participants will receive a certificate of class hours upon graduation based on their attendance that they can use to apply for naturalization.

Since 2018, "Life Adaptation Counseling Classes for New Immigrants" have been held annually in New Taipei City. Ten classes were offered in past years, and each year, more than 300 new immigrants signed up to attend. There will be 11 classes this year. Online registration for the Zhonghe Household Registration Office's "Life Adaptation Class for New Immigrants" is now available. The course will spread law information on topics including residence, settlement, and inheritance rights that are relevant to the rights and interests of new immigrants. Additionally, it will introduce relevant sources for learning a language and finding work.
