The Civil Aeronautics Administration and MOTC R.O.C. have officially launched One-Stop Security, a project designed to streamline the Taoyuan Airport transfer route and encourage the consumption of foreign travelers in Taiwan. Passengers in transit will no longer be subject to security inspections on flights from the US to Taiwan. Initial projections can save The 16 flights every day will help 3,000 people by lowering the wait time by at least an hour.
The percentage of American travelers who transfer at Taoyuan has climbed to 30% after the COVID-19 pandemic. The Civil Aeronautics Administration and Aviation Police Bureau, National Police Agency, and Ministry of the Interior have therefore planned "One-Stop Security" and actively promoted it in order to reduce the time passengers must wait for security checks, save aviation police manpower, and lengthen the time transfer passengers remain in the commercial area.
