The National Theater and Concert Hall (NTCH) will suggest two or three Taiwanese artists to take part in the inaugural “Transmission Impossible Project”, which will take place during the Avignon Festival in 2024, according to NTCH, which was recently visited by Avignon Festival director Tiago Rodrigues. Furthermore, according to Rodrigues, he will promote more Taiwanese acts to appear in the Avignon Festival in the future.

General and artistic director of NTCH Liu Yi-ruu stated that the NTCH is happy to be the first Asian partner of the Avignon Festival's artist training initiative, "Transmission Impossible Project." Taiwanese artists will have the chance to take part in the training program at Avignon in the upcoming years.
According to Tiago Rodrigues, the Avignon Festival delves into cultural variety by beginning with drama. Additionally, the nurturing program offers theaters a more open and diversified future.
For the first time, the principal mentor of the "Transmission Impossible Project" artist training program is Mathilde Monnier, a French choreographer. It will oversee two tiers of twenty students from theaters and art institutions throughout the world from July 8 to July 21, 2024. Participants in the one-week training program at each level include aspiring artists from art and cultural institutions, art festivals, etc.
