The Hsinchu City Government aims to increase the vaccination rate and encourages the public to get vaccinated at the Zhongzheng market (中正市場) by giving away PX Mart vouchers worth NT$200. Three kinds of vaccines are available and no appointment is required to make first.
Moreover, the National Immigration Agency (NIA) has been promoting the “Carefree Covid-19 Vaccination Program” to encourage foreign nationals, including undocumented migrant workers and overstayers to receive free vaccination. The program adopts four principles, “won’t be reported”, “won’t be seized”, “won’t be charged for any fee”, “won’t be banned”.

Lin Chih-Chien (林智堅), the Mayor of Hsinchu City, stated that to incentivize individuals to get fully vaccinated before the upcoming Chinese New Year, people will be given a PX Mart voucher worth NT$200 by receiving any type of COVID-19 vaccines at Zhongzheng market from January 3 to January 7.
People who are eligible for the "Get Vaccinated and Get Gift Vouchers" activity include those who need to get the first, second, or third doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. People can come and get vaccinated at their convenience.

The opening hours of the vaccination sites in Zhongzheng Market are from 8 am to 11 am and from 3 pm to 7 pm. No appointment is required. (BNT will be administered in the morning from January 3 to 7, AZ in the afternoon on January 3, 5, and 7; and Moderna in the afternoon on January 4 and 6.). For vaccination-related information, the public can also check the "Vaccination" section of Hsinchu City's official website.
