The DOE stated that the new immigrant language classes in elementary schools have recently shared traditional festivals of Southeast Asian countries with elementary school students. For example, during the Mid-Autumn Festival in Vietnam, in addition to eating moon cakes, they have the custom of “raising lanterns”. In some places, they hold "lighting water lanterns" events to pray for safety. In Malaysia, some children will light candles in every corner of their yards to compete with neighbors to have brightest house, then they will proceed with the lantern parade, and sing nursery rhymes while walking.

In addition, " Taipei CooC-Cloud " adapts to the new syllabus and uses life-oriented situations and subject knowledge to produce animated teaching videos. With the arrival of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the "Moon Phase" unit of the earth science class of the first semester of junior high school in ninth grade can be used to guide the students by watching the moon. This way, the students will understand that the moon's phases are different on different days, and the reason is related to the changes in the relative positions of the sun, the earth, and the moon. The curriculum is rich and diversified, so that students will not think of "memorize more to get more points” but instead, learn the course contents through personal experience.
