To show care and provide incentives to underprivileged & outstanding immigrants and their children, the National Immigration Agency (NIA) holds “The Scholarship Program for Immigrants & their Children (新住民及其子女培力與獎助學金計畫)” lasting from September 2021 to June 2022.

Eligible persons are encouraged to sign up before March 14, 2022.

NIA pointed out that various awards are issued, including underprivileged & outstanding scholarships, special talent awards, president's education awards program, and immigrant’s license awards. Depending on different awards, incentives ranging from NT$3,000 to NT$30,000 will be issued.

Zhang Xiu Ping (張秀平), who obtained the Certificate of Level B Ladies' Dressmaking during the period of September 2020 to June 2021, is one of the recipients of “The Scholarship Program for Immigrants & their Children”. She shared that she practiced pattern making and dressing skills diligently before the exam, and now she opened a learning studio at home.
