Fuyuan Societies Association (社團法人扶緣服務協會) in Xingang Township, Chiayi County held an event “immigrants coming back home” at a long-term care station on February 20. In total, there were over 50 immigrants have participated in the activities to experience an exotic new year celebration together.
The Chiayi County Service Station of NIA also specially promoted the s Carefree Covid-19 Vaccination Program to immigrants, encouraging everyone to promote the program as well as get vaccinated to protect themselves and others.

The Fuyuan Societies Association has been providing support services for immigrants' families and be the pillar of the community. To show care for them, Fuyuan Societies Association, Chiayi County Service Station of NIA, and Chang Gung University of Science and Technology followed the epidemic prevention measures and organized a spring outing for immigrants.

Lin Bing Huang (林炳煌), the Director of Chiayi County Service Center, stated that we must still attach great importance to “COVID-19” and “African swine fever (ASF)”. Hence, the Carefree Covid-19 Vaccination Program is still ongoing to encourage foreign nationals (including undocumented migrant workers, overstayers) to get vaccinated with peace of mind. Besides, foreign nationals are also appealed to join the effort in preventing the invasion of ASF.
