The major concern is that about 40% of adolescents who suffer from depression do not seek medical treatment. In order to encourage young people to seek medical care fearlessly, more strategies are required. Early detection and treatment can also stop symptoms from getting worse or turning into more severe mental diseases.

The Ministry of Health and Welfare will begin offering three free sessions of psychological counseling to young people between the ages of 15 and 30 who need it on August 1 to improve accessibility to counseling and mental health resources and create a proper understanding of medical treatment.
