From March 6th through June 5th, the submission of 8th Taiwan Literature Award for Migrants will be started. The top prize will reach $100,000 (NT). There will be registration brochures available in several languages in an effort to keep enticing migrant writers to create their own stories and bring a new aesthetic to Taiwanese literature.

The 8th Taiwan Literature Award for Migrants returned after the 7th was halted for two years owing to the pandemic, combining a professional team in cinema and television to allow exceptional text production to transition from text to visual story. Each year, the award takes place in different locations. The north, middle, and south are fully explored, from Taipei to Yilan, from Tainan to Kaohsiung, included literature museums, art galleries, even the area in front of Sacred Tree of Alishan, and The Nanfang'ao Fishing Port.

This year's event will have a press conference at 2:00 pm on March 12 in the hall of Taipei Main Station. The volume of submissions has grown significantly over time. It will be a large influx of fantastic works from immigrants from Southeast Asia this year.
