As the coronavirus pandemic is still going strong worldwide, vaccines have become the best defensive weapon to protect one’s health. To enable the foreigners in Taiwan to live and work with peace of mind, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that foreign nationals who are legally residing in Taiwan can receive COVID-19 vaccines from July 2021.
The National Immigration Agency (NIA) urges foreigners who are eligible for vaccinations to actively book appoints online to improve their health and face the challenges together with Taiwan.

For foreigners holding the valid Residence Certificate, can book vaccination on ‘Covid-19 Vaccination Registration and Reservation Platform’ or make an appointment online through the designated hospital’s registration system.

For individuals possessing the health insurance card (NIC), one needs to enter UI No. (統一證號) & NIC No. (健保卡號) to book an appointment. For individuals without a NIC, one can apply for UI No. on ‘Online Application for ROC Uniform UI Number’ (外來人口網路申請統一證號) or at the service counter of the Ministry of the Interior National Immigration Agency first, and then book appointments with a passport or immigrant permit.
It is hoped that the foreign nationals can be vaccinated as soon as possible, so as to protect the health of everyone living in Taiwan.
