Regarding the issue of vaccinations for migrant workers whose work permits have expired, the Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) has conducted research and discussion on the issue last week and plans to a “COVID-19 Public-funded Vaccine Project” for this group of people except for the unaccounted-for workers.
The National Immigration Agency (NIA) urges foreigners who are eligible for vaccinations to actively book appoints online to improve their health and face the challenges together with Taiwan.
It is hoped that the foreign nationals can be vaccinated as soon as possible, so as to protect the health of everyone living in Taiwan.
In the future, the NIA will work with the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Labor, and religious & NGO groups to actively promote and encourage migrants whose work permits have expired to come forward for vaccinations
