According to The Straits Times, Singapore was struck by heavy rains on Sunday February 20, resulting in flash flood warnings in numerous districts.
Above roughly 4.30 p.m., PUB, the national water agency, reported that water levels in Upper Paya Lebar Road were at 100%, indicating a significant flood risk.

PUB issued a similar advisory for Choa Chu Kang Avenue 1, where water levels had also surged above 90% at 4.20pm. Heavy rain was forecast for many parts of Singapore in the late afternoon, according to the agency, notably in the southern, eastern, and central sectors.

According to the National Environment Agency's projections, rain is expected throughout the week, with showers on Monday afternoon and thundery showers on Wednesday.
Moderate to heavy showers with gusty winds are predicted to persist across the island throughout the afternoon, according to a weather alert issued on Sunday afternoon.
