When He Jing Rong graduated with a master’s degree, he applied Government Scholarships for Overseas Study to study in the U.S. and enrolled in the "Ph.D. Program of Sociology at the University of Hawaii, USA". After obtaining the qualification of a doctoral candidate, he resolutely returned to Taiwan to do research and chose to work in the catering industry to save living expenses. Writing papers every morning; working in the restaurant at noon; studying in the library in the afternoon; working in the restaurant at night, he had a very regular life.
