"Food and Agriculture Education Information Integration Platform": A Wealth of Resources for Food and Agriculture Education
The Ministry of Agriculture is actively promoting food and agriculture education by establishing the "Food and Agriculture Education Information Integration Platform." This platform integrates food and agriculture education information, activities, courses, and a talent database, offering a wide range of learning resources such as lesson plans, teaching materials, recipes, and learning environments. The platform also features a specially designed "Taiwan Agricultural Map," covering agricultural production, nutrition, health, and food culture, introducing Taiwan's rich agricultural, fishery, and livestock products. The general public, educators, and food and agriculture education promoters can use this platform to understand and experience the significance of food and agriculture education and to promote its goals.
Details and Prizes of the "Summer Food and Agriculture Fun" Event
To promote the Food and Agriculture Education Information Integration Platform, the Ministry of Agriculture is organizing the "Summer Food and Agriculture Fun: Monopoly Tour of Taiwan" event, inviting food and agriculture education teams from all over Taiwan to design knowledge quizzes and task experiences. Participants can learn about the agricultural products of each county and experience them firsthand. This year's event also includes a special "Yilan-Hualien-Taitung Special Stage," leading participants to deeply experience the unique features of eastern Taiwan. The event runs from July 8 to August 16, 2024, offering participants a chance to win cash prizes of up to NT$10,000, kitchen appliances, PX Mart gift vouchers worth NT$2,000, and 7-11 virtual gift cards worth NT$500, with total prizes exceeding NT$100,000.
