To promote international tourism after the epidemic, the Taiwan Tourism Bureau (Taiwan Visitors Association, Singapore Office) (TTB Singapore Branch) and Creator and Influencer Alyne Tamir jointly organized "An Influencer is Born 一個網紅的誕生". An event where 6 out of 300 applicants all over the world will be selected. The winners will come to Taiwan to film a video promoting Taiwan's tourism.
According to TTB Singapore Branch, 21 out of 300 creators will participate in Tamir's online Content Creation Masterclass and one-on-one consultation. Contestants must be creative with their videos about sightseeing in Taiwan WITHOUT going to Taiwan.

After a thorough discussion, Tamir along with her team finally selected 6 winners. Once borders are open, the 6 winners will win a trip to Taiwan to create videos to share with Singaporeans.
Influencer and creator Tamir said she is no stranger to Taiwan, in fact, it is one of her favorite countries! Tamir's Facebook page "Dear Alyne" has attracted more than 2.7 million followers. She visited Taiwan in 2019 to participate in "Spend A Night @ Taiwan's Presidential Office Building" where she met and interviewed President Tsai Ing-wen. The two discussed topics on women's rights and raising pets.
