According to TAICCA, the Japanese market is more tolerant of Taiwan Manga and more eager to encourage commercial collaboration because of Taiwan Manga's propensity for being Japanese styled, its variety of subjects and aesthetics, and the cultural similarity between Taiwan and Japan. Taiwan Manga may thus use the Japanese market as a chance to connect with the global market and develop Taiwan's content brand.
