The 2023 New Taipei Christmasland will take place from November 17 to January 1 of the following year. This year, the theme will be "Santa Bear," the mascot, to evoke the mood of a fantasy desert nation. Additionally, the largest "3D projection mapping show" in history and a "canopy-style matcha Christmas tree" will be produced by the organizers. Moreover, there will be concerts, carnivals, Christmas markets, and other events during the celebration.

The "canopy-style Matcha Christmas tree" on New Taipei City Hall Square and the “3D projection mapping show" on the city government building are this year's Christmasland’s main features. The "canopy-style Matcha Christmas tree" is surrounded by an assortment of vibrant sweets and treats.
A "canopy" scene will emerge as evening arrives and the many string lights hanging on top of the Christmas tree begin to shine. The "3D projection mapping show" this year will include Santa Bear-shaped light strips combined with cutting edge naked vision 3D projection technology to create an immersive sound and light extravaganza of the highest caliber that will leave viewers feeling shocked beyond belief.

Additionally, according to the Tourism and Travel Department of the New Taipei City Government, the series of events will begin on November 17 with the "Christmas City Opening Show" and continue with the "Children's Fun Carnival," which begins on November 18 to 19 and followed by "Superstar Christmas Concert" begin on December 9 to 10 and conclude with the German Christmas Party, which will feature a foreign holiday atmosphere, from December 15 to 17th.
