More than 50 representatives from the major expatriate groups in Los Angeles and the Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce attended the talk. The deputy director of the Los Angeles office pointed out that Taiwan and the United States have a solid foundation for economic and trade exchanges.

Lastly, Shi Zhao Hui (施照輝), the director of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Los Angeles, mentioned Taiwan’s success in epidemic prevention by introducing ‘Taipei’ which is selected by the well-known travel guide ‘Lonely Planet’ and the second place of ‘Best in Travel 2022’. It is hoped that this helps to seize the opportunities in the post-epidemic era and attract North American tourists with high spending power and a strong passion for deep travel.
