The Taipei Art Awards has been one of the most important, forward-looking, and indicative visual arts awards of Taiwan. The organizer, Taipei Fine Arts Museum (TFAM) encourages outstanding art creators to join to inspire much more creative thinking and power around the country.
To enhance the awards' international visibility, the Museum has hosted the Taipei Biennial 2020 to echo the Taipei Art Awards and fire more imagination of arts. Since the last year, many international evaluation committees have been invited to Taiwan to interchange artistic ideas and Taiwan's art awards' visibility.
The call for applications for 2020 Taipei Art Awards has started from July 1 to August 31. Individuals or groups with the R.O.C nationality or a permanent residence permit in Taiwan can apply for the awards.
