Seven bilingual language teaching materials are provided by Ministry of Education

K-12 Education Administration(國教署), Ministry of Education (MOE) posted the new resident language digital interactive teaching materials on the "New Resident Children’s Education website"(新住民子女教育網站) to provide teachers with remote teaching resources and to offer students with online self-learning platforms. Schools at all levels switched to online learning in order to decrease the risk of group infection. With the new learning style, students can receive the uninterruptible education during the pandemic.

The digital language learning materials for Taiwanese new immigrants provide 7 languages of diffident countries, including Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Philippines and Malaysia. The contents in the textbooks are all dubbed in bilingual patterns, which are shown as dialogues, interactive quizzes and songs  produced through the demonstration of multiple media and multi-screen reading.

K-12 Education Administration (國教署) pointed out that the digital learning materials for Taiwanese new immigrants are designed to promote the 12-year national education syllabus and the new resident language curriculum. Moreover, the digital language learning material can also be the useful language learning resource for students or people interested in learning Southeast Asian languages.

So far, the language textbook of Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, the Philippines, and Malaysia have been completed 1 to 12 digital volumes. Furthermore, they have been set up on “New Resident Children’s Education website “ The platform of digital course areas are all free.
