The Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Center (MITEC) will host the MATTA FAIR this year from September 1 to September 3. Hot springs and railroad tourism are the themes of the Taiwan Pavilion. Additionally, "Salam Taiwan" was separately established this year to draw in a significant number of Muslim visitors, and Malaysian Muslim star Ayda Jebat was invited to serve as the tourism ambassador.

The director (周士弼) of the Taiwan Tourism Bureau's KL office reported that this year, "Salam Taiwan" invited ten Muslim-friendly travel businesses in Taiwan to be stationed in it. In addition, an increasing number of Taiwanese companies have received halal certification. In the future, the Tourism Bureau intends to welcome Muslim journalists and influencers to Taiwan for a sightseeing trip, allowing the Muslim community to see Taiwan.

Taiwan is the third-best non-OIC destination, according to the 2023 Global Muslim Travel Index published by Mastercard in collaboration with Crescent Rating. 13 national scenic areas in Taiwan currently provide Muslim-friendly facilities for Muslims, and more than 300 eateries and motels have halal certification nationwide. This has also turned into Taiwan's advantage when luring Muslim visitors.
